Message:   Hi. Have you thought about the National Trust Careership training scheme for Gardeners and Wardens. They take 12 trainees every year at various locations around the country. You do the practical at your chosen garden and then you get together with the other students at a college in Cheshire every 8-10 weeks. I am doing this at Hidcote in Glocs. Some years there are properties with Kitchen Gardens that want trainees e.g. Clumber Park (you would need to move though). Have a look at the NT web site for more information about the scheme. This year's intake is due to be published on their web site over the next month I think.

I am due to spend a week at Knightshayes in May so I might see you there!

Let me know if you want any further information.
Sarah
