As this site does not have a webmaster at the moment, Fiona has suggested that I mention Chesters Walled Garden here, whilst it is waiting to be added to the list of gardens on this website. Two acres in size, the north wall was a double heated wall with one remaining chimney in place and flue holes visible. I've been running it organically for the past 21 years, designing it in a naturalistic style and happy that the planting has attracted a wonderful variety of wildlife. Much of this gets written about in my blog which can be accessed via the Chesters Walled Garden website or direct at thewalledgardenblog.blogspot.com. Feedback and comments welcome! |
