I got a hold of the Executive Director of Gray's Seaport Historial Harbor, and he was very apologetic, explained what happened (plausible explanation, too much to write here, but I can see how it could happen). He has given us a full refund, and a "Free sail" in Coos Bay today, Saturday
The E.D. provided exemplary Customer Service, something the Crescent City Chamber of Commerce doesn't seem to have a clue about. All I have gotten from them was an e-mail saying "It's not our fault" (of course, NEVER admit guilt) and they would forward my complaint and concern to the Gray's Harbor Historical Society ( which, by the time I got that e-mail, the E.D. had already responded to me and had done his best to make things right).
We'll see what happens in Coos Bay today.... |
