I do believe the when the supervisors meet to discuss Pot issues.. The large problem of our ground fishing
should be approached as there are so many people at those meetings.. Maybe we could get across to people what the PFMC is doing to Del Norte co. & Crescent City
It seems they are god.. These people don't seem to take into consideration that the pacific ocean is not always
fish-able due to rough conditions out there..Why not have it like it was open all year with a fish limit of nine fish per day. the Licenses go up every year and the fishing time is lower along with fish limits. We need to stand up to the PFMC and get more fishing time again, what else is there to do here.. It hurts businesses of all kinds just to have them ruling us like that, tourism drops, restaurants suffer, motels all stores suffer. With the fuel prices like they are we wont be getting as much traffic through here either. So let us fish out of our boats **** it all..
There are tons of rock fish out there believe me.. Just because of a couple of species of red rock fish
they want to close the whole ocean down..it is stupid
