I understand your concerns and I'd like to take this opportunity to clarify the gang problem here. It seems there IS a group of young locals who have banded together under the school moniker of "Warriors." I have seen their graffiti around town. I don't think they came together for criminal reasons but to defend their home town from the invasion of one of the most dangerous and notorious international gangs, MS 13.
If you haven't heard of MS 13, they are one of the most violently ruthless gangs in the world and have members all over the Americas (yes, I mean North, Central AND South America) numbering in the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS.
Their presence can be identified by graffiti with the roman numerals "XIII" or sometimes "X3" usually along with the letters "MS," or "SUR" which stands for "Southern United Raza(race)."
This group engages in the usual gambling and drug running, particularly crystal meth, but they are also guilty of some of the most heinous crimes imaginable. They are well known for violent extortion of neighborhood businesses, trafficking in human sex slaves of ANY age and have even been found smuggling Middle Eastern and Russian terrorists into the U.S.
It looks like the local Warriors gang is really a group of local teens who would very much like to push MS 13 out of our home, but I doubt they can stand up against such an enormous and psychopathic organization without help.
Make no mistake, these sociopathic criminals look at us and our children and see us as a commodity that can fetch a high price on the human flesh black market. One thing is certain, the longer Crescent City allows MS 13 to exist the more damage and destruction they will cause.
We definitely need to organize against this threat as a community to raise awareness and open lines of communication between citizens and law enforcement so that these criminals can be made as uncomfortable living here as possible. Like the fox who just stepped into the hen house and found the hens all had guns. |
