Welcome to our Mesage Board, I hope that you will use this facility in the spirit that it is intended, and that all who use it may find it mutualy beneficial. This Club was Founded in 1969 by Mr RCN Holt and reformed in 1999 to encompass all who served in 2 PARA since it's inseption and to foster the bonds of comradeship and friendship and links with the 2nd Battalion of the day.

Message:		Hello All, I am posting this message on behalf of Mrs. Marshall who's husband "Harry" served with the Parachute Regiment (Army Air Corps) from 1941 to 1946. Harry served in N.Africa, Sicily and Itay. In 1944 he was at Arnhem as part of the 1st Platoon, "A" Company of 2 Para. Harry fought at the bridge and succesfully escaped back to Allied lines following the battle. Mrs. Marshall has kindly let me have a few pictures of Harry and I will gladly post them if anyone thinks they recognise the name. Unfortunately Harry is very poorly and can not do any of this himself so Mrs. Marshall has given me permission to make these enquiries.
