Welcome to our Mesage Board, I hope that you will use this facility in the spirit that it is intended, and that all who use it may find it mutualy beneficial. This Club was Founded in 1969 by Mr RCN Holt and reformed in 1999 to encompass all who served in 2 PARA since it's inseption and to foster the bonds of comradeship and friendship and links with the 2nd Battalion of the day.

Message:		been on the expara site for ages but cant find a soul who served with 2 para around 1950s, meybe you all gone to that unit in the sky, I am 77 and still frisky. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- Replying to: It is with deep regret that we record the death of one of our Founder Life Members Mr Richard J ['Dick'] Scott [2 PARA 1943 to 1945], on Sunday 13th May 2007 in his home town of Middleton St George in County Durham, his death was notified to us by letter by his Daughter 'Margaret' on Friday 10th August 2007. Our Condolences have been passed to 'Margaret' and the Family God Bless you and RIP 'Dick' you will be sadly missed. Al Ashworth
