Aston was far from crap when he came to us. Ashton was a proven goalscorer who with 16 goals by January 2005 and was top of the charts. I get what you're saying but i'm not sure if a comparsion with Etuhu is going to tell us much.
As i've said before, we don't know if Aston is going to be sold (though it looks likely) and half a mil for a club like us is quite a bit. We all hope Etuhu proves his worth, for now however, I wonder if he's come a rather high price. |
