I managed to get some dodgy footage of this weeks game and, though I really hate to say it, I have to join the chorus now re Worthy.
If you look at our lot on paper, we've got a side which ought to measure up against some of the sides in the prem. There's just no way that we should be doing this badly against what was essentially a bunch of kids on Sunday. Ipswich have far more reason to be ****e than we do.
It would really not take too much to turn it around. I liked rehman and Johannson and I'm not going to judge Earnshaw after one game but something is amiss and we need to say ******** to this season and get it right for next season in the way Leeds appear to be doing.
I reckon that there'd be a few managers out there licking their lips at the prospect of being able to boss a side like ours (with a few mil in the bank as back up and with the best support in the championship) and I'm worried that whilst we have worthy on on board, people like Mike Newell will be looking at going to craphouses like Leicester.
He's been great but he needs to go and we need to aim high with who we bring in. We deserve it and we should be able to do it easily |
