For lodging while you are in Fort Bragg, we highly recommend the Living Light Inn—the only eco-friendly Inn in Fort Bragg. Located just a few blocks from the culinary school, it features organic bedding, biodegradable non-allergenic cleaning products, a whole-house water filtration system, WiFi throughout the Inn, and a kitchen where you can practice some of the techniques you have learned in class. As a student you are entitled to a 25% discount from the usual room rates (from $100 to $175 plus tax per night before the discount). Stay for more than twenty days and you can get another ten percent discount, and if you stay for more than thirty days you will not have to pay any tax on your room. We also have a room-sharing program for students on a tight budget (from $30 to $45 a day, depending on space and amenities). Hi Marshall, Hilloah, Cherie, Dan, Martene, Patricia, et al.
Pat here (k.a. - 2/20-29/08)....I intend to reurn to LCAi as a student from April 19-May 9, and I would like to find out if you have a room at the end that fits wihin my financial budget of $30.00/day for a total of $660.00 from April 18 - May 9, checking out on the 9th. at the end of the Associate Chef's class.
