July 4th at Anderson Speedway
UPDATE ON THE ANDERSON RACE. Check the Anderson Website later today for the officail posting of the Open Comp race on July 4th, rules, payout, and entry forms will be release soon. Some other news, thunder cars, bombers, and dromers will not be allowed to run in the outlaw race, but they will be allowed to run the 25 lap thunder car race. Anderson will allow for one night only the speedrome bombers, and jeffersonville dromers to run there tire and race with the anderson thunder cars. Also that night front wheel drive figure-8, school bus figure-8, and the open comp figure-8. We all to need figure-8 the rules, I say let me open comp, but what to all want, should be a wing rule, or anything. As of right now you must pass a safety inspection, must were proper safety equipment, must run hometrack tire, the speedrome 8" slick, anderson 8" goodyear tire, or sportsdrome tire. Speedrome stocks, sportsdrome extreme, and form of late-model, or mods that can pass the safety inspection. This race is going to happen. We just have to make sure we have at least 15 car or so, if so we will most likely be added to the schedule later this season, and back for nest year. This could be the start to modern era RED, WHITE, and BLUE Series. thanks for your time, Charlie Hargraves |
