Introduce Myself
Hello, My name is Sandra and I live in Southern California. I am 29 years of age and am happy to finally find a site where I can talk and share my thoughts to people who understand me. My disability is called Transverse Myelitis, it is a neuroimmunological disorder of the spine caused by inflammation across the spinal cord. Well, because of it my legs respond latently and it makes them very weak. So depending on how I feel on a particular day I will use a walker or a cane. I just wanted to say a brief hello to everyone and find out if there is anyone else out there that may have the same diagnosis who I may talk to about it.
