Good afternoon
Can someone please tell me which church parish register I should consult for an ancestor born at Appleton 1824? It seems that Farnworth registers cease in the late 1700's.
I am tracing the Banner family from Appleton.

Copies of the Farnworth, St Luke registers are available on microfiche at the Lancashire Record Office, Bow lane, Preston PR1 2RE and the original registers are now kept at the Cheshire Record Office.
They date from 1538 - 1873. More recent registers might still be at the church.
