I want to manually execute a schedule that failed a few days ago, but the report uses the crystal last7days function to limit the data. However, if I run it now I will not get the same results as if the report was run 2 days ago. Is there a feature to allow the current time to be changed while executing a schedule or is this a great new feature idea?
I don't think that that is available so you may want to log a support call and see if they can add that in. I do think you may be able to do what you need to though. Instead of using a Crystal Constant, try using a CRD constant. You can pick a day and then adjust with a -7 days.
Thanks Paul, good tip. I will suggest a new feature to the developers where the execute button pops a window with an "execution date" field that defaults to today. This will then allow the report to take the suggested execution date.
