Packages

Say I create a package with 5 reports. Are the reports scheduled all at once or one behind the other? If they are submitted one behind the other if one abends what happens to the reports that run next. Do they continue to run?

Re: Packages

When you set up a package, the wizard presents you with an option of what to do if a report fails. This will determine what will happen.

The idea of a package is that the reports are output into the same folder, or email, or printer. They are kept together, but the option gives you the ability to leave out a report if it returns no data.

When a package is executed, the reports are run and exported sequentially and each report in the package is treated as an individual report. It is only after they have all run that they are presented in a package - in a single email or a single folder.
