LA-200: hear speakers with Phones output set

I have a feeling that this is more of a speaker issue than a a DAC Amp one, but want to check:

I have Tannoy System 600 speakers and a pair of headphones connected to my LA-200. When I turn the Output to Phones and play some music, it will play quietly on the speakers, in addition to the headphones. Also, at any of the speaker settings + lowest volume setting, the sound can be slightly heard; I'm pretty sure the lowest volume setting is supposed to be silent.

Based on the user manual, the recommended amp power is 50-150 W rms into 8Ω.
You can find any of the other relevant stats here: http://www.tannoy.com/products/158/uman_System600.pdf

Please let me know if there's anything I can do to fix this issue! I'm pretty sure it did not occur when I had B&W 685 speakers plugged in.

Re: LA-200: hear speakers with Phones output set

Hi Paul
When we switch to headphones, we use a completely different circuitry (actually the DAC circuit from LA100), and then mutes the speakers by having the same signal on both terminals . If there is an imbalance in your speakers referenced to ground, then it might be possible to hear something. To fix it make sure you have no ground connection on your speakers.
Hope it can solve your problem.

I replugged everything, and all is back to normal. Nothing serious, I guess!
