Rolling Thunder is a Republician Political Organization

On Memorial Day, the Rolling Thunder Leadership (and announced Republican Political Operatives), member mostly non veteran motorcycle organization, met with President Bush at the White House.

According to the press, Rolling Thunders Leadership express their organizations support for President Bush Re-election Campaign and endorsed his Administrations efforts to cut Veteran's Benefits by over 900 million dollars after the November Election Day.

The facts are clear. This government sponsored mult-million dollar Rolling Thunder Event held under the guise to honor POW/MIA's, has become a right wing Conservative political rally, made up of mostly 7000 non Veterans wealthy enough to own expensive $20,000 motorcycles for recreational use.

I find it interesting that while Rolling Thunder's Leadership can drive up to the White House to express their political support for President Bush and have lunch, hundreds of thousands of unemployed American Veterans and their widows cannot even afford thr funds to take a bus to their local Job Service Office to find work or to apply for food stamps. It is even worse for homeless disabed veterans.

It is also interesting that President Bush will meet with a 7000 member Motorcycle Club on Memorial Day, yet refuse to meet with the families or organizations representing the 800 men and women killed in Iraq and our more then 11,000 casualities.

And on this Memorial Day, while President Bush honored his 7000 Rolling Thunder political supporters at the White House, he refused to go to Andrews Air Force Base and greet the remains of our fellow countrymen and woman he sent to die in an unjust and immoral war.

Shame on Rolling Thunder and shame on President Bush for their exploitation of Memorial Day for partisan political activities.

Right on Brother! Unfortunately, your
eloquence is falling on deaf ears for
the most part. The officers of this
organization obviously don't read their
own forum. (Probably because they already
know what time it is.) If you want any
chance to be heard by anyone with authority,
contact the person below. AND get everyone
else you know to do the same.
