MILITARY ESTABLISHES HOTLINES FOR FAMILIES AFFECTED BY KATRINA

Military officials have set up telephone numbers to help servicemembers determine the status of family members who may have been affected by Hurricane Katrina:

Army, active duty: (800) 833-6622

Army, Guard: (888) 777-7731

Army, Reserve: (877) 464-9330

Air National Guard: (888) 777-7731

Navy, all military and dependents: (877) 414-5358

Navy, all civilians and dependents: (877) 689-2722

Air Force, all: (800) 435-9941

Marine Corps: (800) 255-5082

In addition, troops and their dependents can visit www.militaryfamilylocator.org for additional information about how to find family members and what military aid is available to hurricane victims.
