A house of worship , no matter what faith , should be a place of concilliation and love , not hate and division . Violence should be left outside the church door . God told Moses " thou shall not kill." Jesus told us not to seek revenge , but to turn the other cheek . My parents taught me always to treat all people as individuals . We have so much more in common with each other that goes beyond labels and appearances. The things that are different between one person and another are an opportunity to learn something from each other . I will close with the words from and old hymn .
