For those of you wishing to get an idea of where Meghan will be spending her time for the next 5 to 6 months you can see some photos of the island, its views, the biologist house, and a couple snaps of Meghan in action, on the Riley Snap Shots public section of the site.
The Farallones are about 30 mile off shore from the Golden Gate Bridge. Those that went on last August's fishing trip got half way to the islands.
Over the coming weeks I will post additional photos from Meghan's 2004 archives, showing some of the species that are the subject of her studies.
