DROP 2 FORMAT
We discussed what the League should do about this format. We agreed that Drop 2 format will be not be used after the first season. Reason for this decision:
a) cumbersome administration of this format.
b) does not promote attendance
c) drivers who make every race has the most to lose.
d) makes the race season actually 10 races.
e) does not utilize Racelm points standing without weekly points corrections.

Drop 2 for the remaining season will remain in place since this the season is almost over and it is not fair to make any change at this point of the season. Drop 2 will deduct the 2 lowest points for each driver for season one, the remaining 10 races will be totaled to determine point standings in all series.
Governing Body
The Governing body will comprise of Stakeholders. The original stakeholders are the founding fathers of
ASRacingN2K3.
They are listed as:
David Chinn
Larry Cole
Greg Artlip
Nelson Rodrigues

1.0 Definition of Stake holder
a) Any additional stakeholders must be approved by consensus of the existing stakeholders at the time of consideration.
b) At anytime a stakeholder can resign as a stakeholder.
c) A stakeholder must be an up to date paid member of ASRacingN2K3.
d) New Series administrators must obtain approval of the Governing Body.

1.1 Responsibilities of stakeholders:
a) Make financial decisions in the best interest of the league.
b) Consider all suggestions by member pertaining to any and all aspects of the league.
c) Any decision for a consideration, rules, penalty, new administrator addition, incident review requiring a decision effecting the out come of a race must be decided upon by consensus of the stakeholders.

Giving consent does not necessarily mean that the proposal being considered is one’s first choice. Group members can vote their consent to a proposal because they choose to cooperate with the direction of the group, rather than insist on their personal preference. Sometimes the vote on a proposal is framed, “Is this proposal something you can live with?” This relaxed threshold for a yes vote can achieve full consent. This full consent, however, does not mean that everyone is in full agreement. Consent must be 'genuine and cannot be obtained by force, duress or fraud'

d) The Stakeholders provide the league with a structured decision making process.

Rules Changes
2.0 Guidelines
a) All requests for rules changes by all members can be posted on the suggestions forum.
a.1) Governing body can make a rules change with out the full membership voting process only if this decision is unanimous agreement of the Stakeholders.
b) If the governing body decides to proceed with this change then it will be posted on the forum for a VOTE.
c) If the majority of the member are in favor of this change then the governing body will meet to make a decision on implementation or revision.
d) No rules changes will be made once a season has begun.

SEASON 2 FORMAT & PROVISONAL POINTS

Season 2 will revert back to the original format with one change. The provisional points amount will change from the existing 15 to 17 points.
Upon the completion of season 2 the Governing body at the time can make additional adjustments if required. We also decided in any future changed will be in small increments so has not to have a dramatic effect on the season of the change.
