The following items were discussed and consensus was obtain by the 6 Stakeholders
Chase format for the GEN6 Series
Season Seven will use this new format for the GEN 6 series.
Season 7 will consist of a 12 race season.
The first 8 races will use the regular points system; this will determine who qualifies for the Chase.
The remaining 4 races will be the CHASE for the Championship.
Only the top 10 racers at the end of race 8 of season 7 will Qualify for the Chase
At that point all drivers in the top 10 will have the points reset to the grid below:

Season
Drivers missing more than 2 races during the regular season are not eligible to qualify for the CHASE.
Drivers in the Chase who miss a race during the chase will still get provisional points
Due to Labor Day weekend, that Sunday’s race will not be part of season 7, but will be an open server race. This will extend season 7 into the week 1 of the 2 week off period.
Allows drivers to have the long weekend off.
Keeps interest in racing during the off week period.
Hot Pitting penalty
Any driver who hot pits and does not self served & declared drive through(which also must be declared at the time of the hot pit) will be accessed a 2 lap penalty after review by race officials. If the driver appeals this decision that driver must submit a replay to the admin of the series. The admin will review the drivers replay and have all the admins review their own replays to make a determination. The decisions after the made appeal process admins reviewing the replays are final.
If the driver is accessed the 2 lap penalty they will be placed the last driver on that penalized lap. (IE if driver is on lead lap, they will be placed -2 laps behind all the drivers 2 laps down)
Provisional point system adjustment
Provisional points will be changed to 25 points, unless more than 20 driver compete in any one race then the provisional will be 1 point less than the last driver's finishing position.
Format of track files on website
All tracks posted on ASRacing's downloads page will be in a WINZIP format.
Web page reviewing
Web administers will begin reviewing the content of all pages for any updating needed. Any members seeing a problem or possible update should notify any of the admins of the issue.
New track technical problems
Any new track not tested during the off season if used during the season and has technical issues then the original game track can be used.
Rules page
Rules page will be updated to reflect all changes.
