Welcome back to summer you’all. As much as we enjoyed the fall temps this weekend, it is too early for summer to be over yet. We reached the full schedule of games in Indiana and we’re not going to be able to cover every game on our weekly post, for the full report of the games this past weekend check out the Indiana Scoreboard. Some highlighted games from this past weekend: The Tornadoes blasted the Warriors with a score of 53 to 14 although given credit the Warriors are the first team to score on the Tornadoes this year. The Big Brother won the fight as the Mustangs win 34 to 26 over the Wolfpack. The Adam Co Patriots were out to prove they were not at the end of the road with a win over the early favorite Cardinals 24 – 7. Finally, the Stampede were outran by the Plowman losing by one point.
The State Rankings are up and the IFL after week one have started to shown their power with the Cutters – Generals – and Mustangs in the top five.
This week’s highlighted games are:
Mustangs @ Cutters : A early season rematch of the 2008 IFL championship game. Both teams have lost some players in the offseason, the Mustangs due to the Wolfpack and the Cutters due to some organizational issues. But never the less – this will be the game of the week.
Force @ Wildcats : A battle of two undefeated teams in the MFL in what’s seems to be a shakeup of power in the MFL.
Titans @ Stampede: A good matchup seems to be scheduled here. The stampede need to win to regain leadership status in their league, the titans need a win to stop a quick fall to the bottom.
All the games schedule for this week can be found at our Master Schedule.
Fan voting is going strong at our Fan Prediction Center while Supa Fan seems to have knocked of the rust of the offseason going 8 for 10 while the fans got 8 of 13.
Good luck to all the teams this weekend.
