Good Morning, SupaNation. This weekend is the turning point of many seasons and will even be the ending point of a few of them. The pros are in camp and the HS kids are just a week away from action across the region. Everyone's got football fever- thought we've been at it for months. I've got a lot on my plate this week, so I'll be brief- but make sure you're NOT brief when you share the details of your game- we all look forward to in-depth updates.
North Coast Vikings @ Lima Warriors
The Warriors put me in my place last week with a resounding win on the road. They'll beat a Vikings team this week that is the best team in a weak division.
Tri-County Raiders @ Indiana Patriot
Great game for two contenders in the CRFL. The Raiders have been inconsistent, but so have the Patriot. Home field will mean just enough in this one.
Miami County Blitz @ Ohio Force
The Force are in serious trouble for a variety of reasons, but my information suggests that they will try to make it to the end of the season. The Blitz will be in business, even away from home- against the hapless Force.
Battle Creek Blaze @ Indiana Hitmen
This is a great game that will go a long way toward determining the order of things in the North Division of the IFL. The Hitmen feature the best defense that the Blaze have yet seen- but the Blaze offense will be good enough to win the day.
Wannee Hurricanes @ Kosciuscio County Mustangs
This is an enormous game for the future of the Mustang franchise. The team has underperformed thus far and is facing a very tough schedule. The Canes are much better than their record suggest. The Mustangs have just enough in a must win scenario.
Ohio Valley Warriors @ Kentucky/Ohio Xtreme
By virtue of having been in the tougher division, the Warriors are on the road to face the very tough Xtreme. In a rematch of a barn-burner from back in June, the Warriors will arrive hungrier and in better health. Upset time.
Chicago Cowboys @ Ohio River Bearcats
This season has not been (yet) what the Bearcats had hoped. The visiting Cowboys will give the Bearcats an opportunity to start the post-season right and put those narrow losses behind them.
Indiana Generals @ Indiana Cutters
In case you missed the memo, the Generals are for real. The Cutters have certainly taken a step back this week and would do well to keep this game tight through all four quarters.
Indiana Renegades @ Dark Knights
Two teams struggling to find themselves- neither with a very good defense. Except for a win over a more or less absent Force team, the Knights have been subject to ugly thrashings. Even on the road, the Renegades get my pick.
Ohio Outlawz @ West Central Wildcats
While the Wildcats have not looked like themselves every week, they've been more consistent to be sure than the visiting Outlawz. The boys from Ohio have certainly been a great pickup for the league, but would not be the favorites, even at home.
Noble County Wolfpack @ Elkhart Shamrock
The Wolfpack have taken all challengers and showed- especially when the chips were down- that they were a serious challenger for the league title. The Rock are a shell of their former selves and have little hope even at home.
That's all I've got- the sun's on it's way up and that means that it is time for uncle Supa to hit the sack. Make sure to be safe in the hot weather and do your thang- but be sure that you're always making your mommas proud, fellas.
Rock I wish you guys well this weekend, I will be rooting for you guys from down here in Indy at Riley Hospital this week & possible next. Don't worry or stress yourselves out about football guys, its just a game. No matter what you are playing for whether you are in the title game or not, its just a game, so have fun doing what you love to do.
For everyone that knows Sierra is doing a bit better & the prognosis is looking for the good. All the prayers have been greatly appreciated, Thank You...
HITMEN pull off the WIN. 27-21. good clean hard fought win. The hitmen were up 27-7 at the end of the 3rd QTR. the Blaze fought back..but the DOMINATE HITMEN DEFENSE SHUT DOWN THE BLAZES OFFENSE IN THE RED ZONE on 4th down with time expiring. Good game blaze.. Hitmen... We keep shutttinn THESE HATERS UP. Wolfpacks next

Good call supafan. Renegades win 34-0
Very hard fought game! Outlaws defense loves to hit and I'm already feeling it and the game just ended 45mins ago. Wildcats went into the half with a score 20-0.
Hope the Outlaws have a safe trip home and hope everyone that went down has a quick recovery. Good Luck!
Lima Warriors 46
North Coast Vikings 0
Corey Minnfield throws 4 touchdown passes(2 to Ladon Coleman, Deondre Holt, and Porfirio Sutton) Joe Klinger adds a rushing score. Defensively Brandt Huttis intercepts two passes, returning one 42 yards for a score and Chris Brooks scoops up a fumble and races 86 yards (Warrior team record) for another score. Warriors defense forces 6 turnovers. Lima will play in their 5th conference championship game in 10 years as they host the Cleveland Cobras next Sat.
Since giving up the 46 points to the Cobras in the defeat at home earlier this year, the Warriors have been undefeated only giving up a total of 32 points in the 8 games following the Cleveland loss!
The Warriors have won division titles, starting in 2004, in the Ohio Valley Football League (2), Minor League Football Association (2), United States Football Alliance (2), and Heartland Football League. Competed in Conference Championship games in the OVFL (2003, 2004) MLFA (2005) USFA (2007, 2009) HFL (2010).
Supa, damn near perfect for the Wolfpack Game.
50-0 Pack over the Shamrock.
Was a clean game, and The Shamrock always come to play.
Force 2 Panthers 0, forfeit
Ohio River Bearcats 30
Chicago Cowboys 22
Patriots - 17
Raiders - 16
The Warriors and Xtreme participate in another instant classic. These 2 teams are so evenly matched it is crazy and everytime we get together the fans are in for a treat. Both teams went toe to toe all night and at the end of 4 quarters the score was knotted at 21. The Warriors won the coin flip and after a kick return to midfield the running game went to work and the Warriors were able to drive the ball down the field for the game winning td. In an emotional game filled with ups and downs, the Xtreme were gracious in defeat and both teams gathered for a post game prayer with absolutely no trash talking from either team. We have a very heated rivalry with now 3 of 4 games coming down to ot and the other being decided by 3 points, but both teams players and coaches alike have nothing but respect for one another.
Not that it really matters but the score of our game was Hitmen 26, Blaze 21. (The Hitmen ran one PAT in and the three attempted kicks were not good.)
Good hospitality by our hosts. Nice facility and the best refs we've seen to date. Swarming Hitmen defense and an accurate QB made the difference!
Appreciation to ALL players that left it all out there in tremendous heat & humidity this weekend. You guys are true warriors...
