Here are the 2 videos of the last 2 seconds of the game and the fight. If you pay attention to #7 on the Spartans you will notice that he takes a shot at #52's knee on the Crusaders causing him to go the the hospital. Then #7 gets up runs across the field and hits #36 in the back after the play was over. Then #28 from the Crusaders bumped into #7 and #7 threw a punch. You will notice in the second video #36 of the Crusaders did swing his helmet after he was punched in the face. We as an organization will not tolerate this type of behavior from any player and have already dealt with the situation. If you put the second video in slow motion, you will notice one of the Crusaders' player on the ground while he is being kicked and kneed. I'm not saying the Crusaders are innocent at any means but I'm tired of all the BS talk about how we are a bunch of thugs. I say watch the video and judge off of facts.
I wish that the video would of been able to see more that actually went on and able to identify more of the players. The players that are seen on this video that is on youtube need to be suspended for the rest of the year and other leagues need to honor the suspensions. I believe #7 for tri city and #35 or #36 should be banned for the year.
As for the crusaders being a dirty team. This tape doesn't change my mind. It reinforces my believe. contrary to popular believe, their can be two dirty teams playing each other at the same time which we saw last night. It is also the refs fault for letting the game get that way with the late hits that were aloud.
For the most part people know right and wrong, but with out law and order people tend to choice the easier path.
Honestly, your interpretation of the video is off. The first block was clean and legal. The second was at the whistle, not after, and it was to his side, not his back. He played till the end of the whistle and did his job.
#28 on the Crusaders seemed to instigate the fight by running into #7 after the play was dead. Your video does not show a punch thrown by #7 before the helmet was used as a weapon.
Teams can only blame themselves for their actions. Egos kill semi-pro teams and leagues, so it's time to man up and take responsibility. Be good role models for the kids in the bleachers and think twice before acting out.
That block was a "Chop Block" which is illegal in almost all level of play to include high school. Not sure what happened to the the video but it appeared to shrink it when it was posted.
Maybe it is time to set standards in regard to where games can be played.
Games should not be played on fields such as this with fans on the sidelines.
Fields should have a fence around them like many high schools do.
Teams should have a uniformed officer on each sideline with the understanding hat any fighting will be dealt with by gee toting a free ride in a police car.
Any player suspended by one league that suspension qneeds to be honored by all leagues.
Don't use the money excuse everyone who wants a team knows that this can be and is expensive. If you can't afford or don't want to pay he costs then get out of football the sport deserves better and fans deserve better
Players be responsible you are role models act like one.
I sgree with the last post except for uniformed officer on sideline. The officers are working on overtime payscale when working outside the normal duties. That would be around a 400 dollar bill for a team each game. IF you need to have them, then you shouldnt be playing.
The post by andrew is either on blind faith in his team or straight out stupidity. Their is a a difference in a clean hit and trying to get a cheap shot in that is in the grey area of the rules.
Looks like the league has looked into this. Although there is no mention of specific players this is off the CRFL site.
The Crusaders have been placed on league probation, without voting rights for the remainder of the year.
Last night's incident, this is the second incident on their field this year, first of the league season and these actions will not be accepted. As part of the probation they are not to start any more home games unless there is a uniformed police officer on the field at all times, at their cost. Another team fight during the game and they will be brought up for a vote for removal from the league.
Thats a start by the league in the right direction. this makes the league look like shit. which if the league commish is helping do this then the league probably is shitWhat about the players that actually were involved. They should be severely punished. Dont matter why they did what they did, using a helmet as a weapon should be a criminal act. put them thugs in jail were they cant hurt anyone, starting with the commish Jackson
So tha other team starts tha fight and tgey be gettin off scott free that's fucking bull shit when clearly that nigga #7 started the fight he needs kicked off tha team u dig
And tha bum ass post dude talkin like that shit was ok to hit under tha knee like that .my eyes crusaders did nothing but win tha game and the Spartans wanna get big and try da fight and them buns loss that too
I'm a eagle an watched tha Ho 2nd half they balled out
Is #52 ok? Has anyone heard how he is doing?
U can't chop in open field like that u fuckin dumb ass ! Yea #52 is out of hospital and doin tha best he can .
# 36 of the crusaders was the one using his helmet as a bat, got pushed down with him falling over and getting up.
Ear watched this video over and over. Ear sees a player (#7) trying to make a play on the last play of the game with his team down 8 to try and win the game. The first block was low, but appeared to legal. When have you seen a player make a dirty hit and then Sprint all the way across the field to try and make another block to help his team win? Ear says never. Someone trying to make a dirty hit tends to stick around to see what damage he has caused, this guy just didn't quit until the whistle to try and help his team win. That's what team players do. They don't quit. Crusaders seem to have a bunch of individuals out there that care about only themselves. It's a shame that they are putting their organization in the ringer because they continue to be jackasses. You may say you are not to blame, but when it happens over and over with different teams and...YOU, then YOU are the problem. Grow up and play football, or sit out this year. Ear pities the fools and hope they don't doom their organization who has out a lot of time and hard work to let YOU live the dream and play football again. Grow up kids. Ear was watching this video and saw little kids on the field watching this take place. Ear was ashamed to be apart of semi pro.
Ear is Out
Cut Blocks are legal!!! Where they are legal @ depends on what rules we go by. A lot of times the officials don't even know what rules we are going by. Heck, I can not even say I know what rules we go by! I think the CRFL should have a printed copy of the rule book & issued to every team! Questions like "defensive contact with a wide receiver allowed only the first five yards or until balls in the air?" or "Is a catch with one foot or two feet in bounds?" Simple rules like that are questioned about every game & it seems like it depends on the Officials.
First off, a cut block is legal. Where a cut block is performed depends on what rules we go by if it is legal or not. If we go by high school rules, it is considered legal inside the tackle box & performed @ the line of scrimmage by a lineman. You want to go by college or NFL rules, cut blocks are free game all over the field with a few exceptions. Think of the numerous times you have seen pulling guards or full backs on sweeps cut block a outside linebacker on sweeps outside the tackle box. Or a blitzing corner back go end over end by the running back pass blocking by cut blocking in the backfield.
People get "Cut Blocks" so easily confused with "Chop Blocks". Chop blocks are illegal @ all levels of the game. To perform a "Chop Block" takes two members of the offensive team. An example would be:
A Defensive Tackle, in a 4-3 front, lines up in a 3 technique (strong side B Gap between the Guard & Tackle) As the Defensive Tackle proceeds into his assigned B Gap, the Offensive Guard engages @ shouldler level & holds the Defensive Tackle in the upright position. While engaged, the Offensive Tackle then dives into the Defensive Tackle's legs or knees to finish or complete the "Chop Block".
As far as the tape, #7's block on the Middle Linebacker could of been a legal block depending on what rules the CRFL goes by & that #7 is aware what rules we go by. The Middle Linebacker was in the position to make a play, it is not like #7 picked out someone & deliberately tried to cause injury to another player like the picture has been painted. To justify that fact, #7 got back to his feet, ran 60 yards to perform a legal block, @ all levels of the game, to another defensive player that was also in position to make a tackle. Most players would just sit back & watch the play go on. #7 played to the whistle. #7 tried to help win the game by making something happen. #7 may have played @ a collegiate level & in the heat of the moment, went by collegiate rules.
As far as start of the fight, I saw #20 from the Crusaders purposely nudge into a player of the opposing team. It was a nudge, not a push, not a punch, but a NUDGE. No members of the Spartan Organization should of retaliated, even if #20 added in his choice of words with his nudge.
A perfect example of a chop block:
This guy's Highlight film is nothing but cut blocks! AWESOME!!!
So it is ok to run full speed at someone who isn't even looking at you until the last second when the runner is already past him and all of a sudden lead with your helmet into the knee of a guy running at you? I think it was unnecessary roughness where it is stated "a player uses tactics that are above and beyond what is neccesary to block or tackle another player." And even if I thought his intentions were clean after he hit the 2nd guy he got up and started walking at him when that guy started walking the other way. So if he was trying to just make blocks he wouldn't approach the player he put on his butt. But, definitely the crusaders should've kept their cool regardless of what #7 did. You had the W already!
I agree with number 7 going full blow all the time. Through is aggressiveness he tends to look for the kill shot way to much. According to this league and as a high school rule, their is not blocks below the waste or at most only between the tackle box. Again I am not certain about the tackle box exception, but I do know about no block below the waste (cutblock).
The comments by blinded fan/or dumbass andrew.. About number 7 being 5'1" and othr guy over six foot... cry me a river... I guess we should say a 6 foot receiver should not jump over a 5 foot db. Or maybe the 300 pound lineman should put one hand behind hid back when he goes against a 200 pound scrub. Maybe our kicker has a week leg and should kick off from the 50 then because he kicks it 10 yards less then the other team. Hell, I am a couple of inches away from being a porn star, I already have the mustache and funny facial expressions...Justifying a low block because of size is not justified.
If you have to play a game with security, then we shouldnt be playing. this isnt like the movie the longest yard. What the hell is one cop going to do in a rumble like last week. 20 guys over 200 pounds going at it, is the going to be able to stop it?
I believe we could stop this is the refs started calling a lot more calls on late hit and blow the damn whistle sooner. Change the down by contact rule to being down when you hit the ground no matter what, That will stop a few.
THe refs are responsible in keeping the pot from boiling over and everything in check. They didnt, the players didnt keep themselves in check, the facility was built for youth sports were parents need to be close and not adults with chips on their shoulders.
But I am sure that is the best place they could get for the money.
The situation I'm sure is being handled by the league and the teams, all I have to say is I do agree with the poster above that this field is not a good choice for adult football it is for little kids to play on the grass is all dead already and it resembles a dust bowl. The fans family and friends are on the sideline and that is half of what is wrong. If there isn't a better more suitable field for this team then they should agree to play the rest of their games on the road.
From CRFL site
Team Probations and Player Suspensions from Spartans vs Crusaders June 23 Game.
After reviewing the game film of the Marion County Crusaders against the Tri City Spartans I am very upset and disappointed in both organizations. As we all know football is a game of controlled aggression. Players are expected to give it their all for approximately five to ten seconds at a time and then are expected to regroup and join the rest of their teammates at a huddle peacefully preparing themselves for the next play. After viewing the film of the end of the game and post-game clearly there are some men on both sidelines that are not capable of doing this. I would first like to thank Dennis Morris a seven year veteran and a member of the Semi Pro Hall of Fame and a Semi Pro ranking official for giving the opportunity to gather his witness experience at the game. On the final play of the game Spartans player Johnny Gayles #7 spears a Crusaders Player directly in his right knee and in the end is clearly seen throwing punches at a group of Crusaders. This kind of aggression will not be tolerated in our league. Due to his actions he will be kicked off the Tri City Spartans and banned from the Crossroads Football League permanently. At the end of the play when both teams met together Crusader Terrel Napier #36 is seen swing his helmet and using it as a weapon. These behaviors have no place to be on the field and therefore he too will be removed from the Marion County Crusaders and banned from the Crossroads Football League.
As the pile grew in numbers it was very difficult to identify players however Donald Keys #35 of the Crusaders and Mike Taulbee of the Spartans are both seen stomping at players while they are on the ground. These players are to receive a two game suspension and are to be placed on league probation. If either of the two men are ejected from a CRFL Game the remainder of the year they too will be remove from their respective teams and banned from the league. And finally Joel Marrow #28 of the Crusaders is seen throwing a punch at the beginning of the brawl directed towards Johnny Gayles #7 of the Spartans. Mr. Marrow will receive a two game suspension for his actions and will also be placed on probation for the remainder of the season. Obviously there were more unacceptable behavior with both teams during and after the game, because I can not correctly identify these actions I am forced to also give both head coaches a one game suspension. One of the coach’s jobs on the field is to control their players, I understand 45 players is a heavy task, but the coaching staff agrees to this role when they accept their positions. This behavior will not be tolerated as long as I am a part of this league. Had this been a small group of players individual suspensions would have been handed out and we would have continued with the season. Keep in mind this is a team sport, you win as a team and you lose as a team.
The actions that happened at Lawrence Park in Indianapolis Saturday night reflect the actions of a former team from season past. We as a league met and agreed that this kind of behavior is unacceptable. I would have hoped that the coaches on both sidelines would have been able to control their teams and the outcome of this game could have ended peacefully, because of this both teams will too be placed on probation as stated in our by-laws. If another issue occurs with either team a vote of removal will take place, a possible removal will occur. This league is under the national spotlight due the unfortunate accident with Dave Coleman and because of this game; our league has just received a black eye. If there are any other questions, please feel free to address them to me. Let’s recover from these events and continue on with a successful third season.

Wow...pretty sure ur not a fan if u had access to this...John Jackson swung on Spartans #44...that is tolerable from him? #28 starts a fight in which cleared the Crusader bench to the Spartans side! He started the riot...The film that is suddenly deleted from YouTube showed Johnny tackled above the right knee...if he was trying to hurt him it would have been below both knees...he ran all the way down field to make another LEGAL hit, then walked off the effing field! 28 bumped him, told him to suck his ____, and his 1 year old son to suck his____, then punched him...Johnny defended himself! If anyone should be suspended it should be the refs! Pathetic! Yes tempers flared...the game was over Spartans lost and Crusaders still started shit! #28 could have walked his thug ass back to his sideline and we could have shook hands, prayed and left! This should not have been Crusaders first warning...they are 2-0 at starting fights after a game! Enough said I understand John Jackson is ur effing friend, but u r both pathetic! Yes I am a Spartans fan, but ur "video" incriminated your ruling! Most that are unbiased and watched the last play and fight have said, Johnny played with heart...the refs allowed players on the field to yell at Spartans sidelines! This happened the whole game...come on man! Even if Johnny did hit the guy low since when did players get suspended for getting a penalty? Johnny threw a fist AFTER he was pushed then punched...he didn't swing a helmet!
I understand everything but the legal hit part. IN High school football, the rules we use. YOU CAN NOT BLOCK BELOW THE WASTE. I know some of you guys have guts that hang down to your knees, but damn know the rules....
It depends on which ref on which rules are followed...we had 2 TDs called back for in eligible receiver making catch...both times our receiver was pushed out and came right back in to make the catch...both called back...NFHS rules state if pushed out and player comes back in it is a catch! They used NFL rules on those 2 calls...not even an interference call, but ref stated player was in eligible since he was pushed out and came back in!? As for the cut block...here is ur rule...NFHS football rules, blocking below the waist is only legal in the Free Blocking Zone. The free-blocking zone is a rectangle eight yards by six yards. It is four yards on either side of the ball and three yards behind each line of scrimmage. So yes he might have earned that penalty, but since when did suspensions get handed out for penalties? I could see if he was first to swing like #28 or Mr. John Jackson...or even if he used helmet as weapon...but #7 was swung on! Spartans are not thugs, Crusaders cleared their bench in both games! Spartans reacted...did u expect men to not protect the women and children behind them...as I could hear a few of the Crusaders talking about shooting the players and their families, right in front of me!
Rule 9-5 states:
During the first half, players shall not participate in a fight.
PENALTY—15 yards from the basic spot or from the succeeding spot, first down for Team B fouls if the first down is not in conflict with other rules, and disqualification for the remainder of the game.
During the second half, players shall not participate in a fight.
PENALTY—15 yards from the basic spot or from the succeeding spot, first down for Team B fouls if the first down is not in conflict with other rules, and disqualification for the remainder of the game and the first half of the next game.
During either half, coaches or substitutes shall not leave their team area to participate in a fight, nor shall they participate in a fight in their team area.
PENALTY—15 yards from the succeeding spot, first down for Team B fouls if the first down is not in conflict with other rules, and disqualification for the remainder of the game and for the next game.
For fights that occur in the last game of a season, coaches and substitutes with eligibility remaining will serve fight-related suspensions during the first game of the next season for which they are eligible.
Rule 9-5-2 provides:
If the squad member, coach or player is disqualified for fighting a second time during that season, he shall be disqualified for that game and suspended for the remainder of the season.
If a second fighting suspension occurs in the final game of a season, he shall be suspended for the first game of the next season for which he is eligible. This suspension is considered to be his first fight of that season.
Hitting another player with the crown of the helmet.
Spearing is illegal and results in a 15-yard penalty against the offending team.
Fighting is defined as:
Any attempt by a player, coach or squad member in uniform to strike an opponent in a combative manner unrelated to football. (Such acts include, but are not limited to:
- An attempt to strike an opponent with the arm(s), hand(s), leg(s) or foot(feet) regardless of whether there is contact; or an unsportsmanlike act toward an opponent that causes any opponent to
retaliate by fighting).
So fighting by definition all parties listed as swinging, punching, shoving & stomping shall serve all the same penalties which is a suspension of 4 quarters of play. One can not judge one's severity of fighting over the other & hand out made up multiply penalties.
Also states: During either half, coaches or substitutes SHALL NOT LEAVE THEIR TEAM AREA to participate in a fight, nor shall they participate in a fight in their team area.
I feel any & all Coaches, Players & Fans that left from the opposite side of the field shall be noted, accounted for & shall suffer disqualification for the next game.
As for #7 spearing, the rule states "He must intentionally use his helmet to spear" I fell like it's hard to find an official to realize whether or not the players intentionally used it or whether he was just trying to make a block. But in no way shape or form, should this so called spear, or cut block, influence or determine #7's fate as a member of the Spartan Organization.
I believe that the suspensions violate the CRFL's "duty of fairness to players," and a grievance should be filed challenging the CRFL's authority to suspend the current Crusader & Spartan players who took part in the extra curricular activities. All Players & Coaches involved should file appeals of their suspensions. Going into a bye week for both organizations should help.
CRFL should do:
Take note of the 22 players that were on the field for the last play of the game.
Suspension of 4 quarters to all & any Players or Coaches that came onto the field off of their own sidelines with the exception of the players that were attending #52 (injured player)
Suspension of 4 quarters to all & any Players or Coaches that participated in fighting BY DEFINITION. Players names & numbers to be recorded & warned that a 2nd offense during the 2012 season will result in removal from the CRFL indefinably.
Player using an object (helmet) as a weapon however does not fit under the definition of fighting & shall be removed from the CRFL indefinably.
#7 shall receive a written warning in writing from the CRFL Board & reviewed by officials definitions of spearing & cut blocking outside of the tackle box. Warning shall contain that 2nd infraction results in a suspension of 4 quarters & a 3rd will be removal from the CRFL indefinably. #7 should be educated by the Spartan Organization, documented & signed by #7 & Spartan owners the dangers of leading with your head & cut blocking & presented to the CRFL Board @ the next league meeting. Its about making a positive out of a negative people! We need to educate our young players, give them a chance to learn from their mistakes, not turn our backs on them & shoo them along!
You can only catch the ball after returning from being out of bounce if you are not the first person to touch the ball.
as for suspension. I dont agree with being kicked out for the ILLEGAL hit because you cant tell if he was trying to hurt the other player or not. I personally dos not believe he was out to injure the other player.
IF you read the VP's statement he only points out people they could identify on film. The film didnt catch everythingjust like refs usually do not see the first swing in a fight and the second swing is the one who gets in trouble. With a black eye on this shitty league, they just punished the people that they could make out. Their version of spraying fabreeze on a pile of shit instead of actually digging deep and getting ride of the shit that is actually causing the problem.
I agree withyou on your thoughts tailgater.. the only problem is it was the last play of the game and the sidelines were clearing already. their was even a little bit of the home sideline prematurely entering the field before the play was completely over, but that happens a lot so nothing to worry about their. It was just a huge combination of a lot of stuff that caused this shit fire to burn.
The league needs to come down hard but not banishments. Make penalties stiff, but with a chance for reduction with education and awareness.
"Their version of spraying fabreeze on a pile of shit"
OMG! ROFLMAO!!! Good Shit!
Supa so needs to add a 'Like' option on here!
I hope they have an appeal process that isnt similar to the dictatorship of Goodell of the NFL. I think we need to really figure out what the CRFL stands for. my current vote is Can't Rule Fairly League.
jj is insp and supa fan
To J.Morris: Why don't you post all of the game film, since you want to put to 2 video clips on youtube, so we can all come to our own unbiased conclusions. See what lead up to the end of the game. Just a thought.
Fighter, not trying to be offensive, but you should know your facts before making these allegations. This is how rumors start. And even if this was true, then why would INSPF post his pregame predictions & NOT do Supa's, which is the ORIGINAL Midwest Prediction Center?
Truth be known, I know who INSPF is & I know who Supa is. I have the respect NOT to call them out.
Years ago, Supa once quoted, "I will give up my identity when the Dallas Cowboys win the Super Bowl". Until then, Enquirering minds will have to wait!
So Fighter, please show some respect, don't try & save the world all in one day, this season has already had it's fair share of drama. So, just sit back & enjoy instead of trying to add to it!
....besides, even if I told you guys who Supa was, probably 99% of you have never even heard of him.
Tailgater a decision has already been made about suspensions...everyone always has an opinion on what should be done if your not part of the league and board keep your ideas to yourself...me being from sb am very ashamed of what took place and i stated in a post previous that this team was the second coming of our very beloved south bend stampede i have to retract that...this team is talented but without leadership that being coaches and players...some crfl teams should consider moving to the ifl!
Ole school, I am right there with you! Semi-Pro has changed so much through the years. The game itself hasn't changed, but the people playing it have. It seemed like back then, there was some type of magically bond that you had with your teammates, a chemistry I can not describe, but somehow we all group together as one, on the battle field & fought until the end.
Today is much different. Players have this me, me, me attitude, in it for themselves. Teams are made up of individuals, instead of playing as "One Unit". Players these days will never get to experience that special unity that we once all had. Not because there isn't players today out there capable of having it, there are NO TEAMS today capable of having it.
As cheesy as a may sound, the movie I know everyone has watched, "Remember the Titans" is probably the best example of what I am trying to describe.
"The bond & friendships you gain in Semi-Pro will out weigh any Championship you may win." ~Tailgater
...maybe players play today for the wrong reasons?
Why do the Head Coaches get a suspension Tyler? Your reasoning is bullshit! These are grown ass men out there playing a game that they have been playing since childhood. How the hell can you expect one man to control the actions of 45 grown ass men? Was it not enough that the Head Coach of the Crusaders came to the brawl and corraled his players and sent them to the sidelines...or did you not see that part of the video? Just keep making shit up as you go along. This league is a fucking joke! National spotlight my ass.....Do you honestly think that anyone in America really gives a shit about a mens rec league? We aint getting paid to do this shit...not players...not coaches....nobody. To suspend either coach is definitely the wrong decision. I can understand players...but hell your not even going by the rules written by the league. Your on some Roger Goodell bullshit! Just keep thinking that the nation gives a shit about this small market rec league. You banned #7 from the league for what? Playing until the whistle? Did he even know that the cut block was illegal outside of the tackle box? I doubt it...the refs don't even know the rules 50% of the time. Bad Call on this one...
J. Morris, you never posted what Spartans players did...you tried your best to edit film and post what benefited your team! U showed up to where ur man started the brawl! Then came back to where u thought one of our players used his helmet as a weapon...once again it was a crusader! The Crusaders came to our bench! Your team did the same thing last week! But u get a second chance for a second chance...teams with commisioners, presidents, and vps, should never be allowed! no one can even do anything about not following procedures, rules, and by laws without a bigger consequence than losing a player or 2!
Actually, last week we played the Force and didn't have one incident at all. You might be talking about the Eagles game where there were no punches thrown or any other physical altercation. That was nothing but a bunch of verbal junk. Don't believe me ask any Eagle player that will give his name, not just a made up name.
As far as editing the film, I'm not that smart to do something like that. I posted the film that I have, but when it was posted on youtube it cut short on the left and right side.
Do you really think the Crusaders weren't hurt by this? We lost one of best LB for the season and 3 others for 2 games. As I stated before, its over with. Move on and worry about who the Spartans play next.
What a mess! Go to a crusaders game...pay for a football game...watch a fight for free! Another PR disaster for the Crusaders...wait a minuet...weren't they on here a while back making a big fuss about some big hire they made for their front office??? Where is this guy at to weigh in on things??? Speaking of a No-show where is Mr. Jackson at to weigh in on things??? Mikey stop playing with the little boys and come out of hiding....or you may end up in jail as someone suggested...but a better place for you I believe would be off the field at the very least...If you were throwing fists maybe you should SET an EXAMPLE for your league and team by sitting out the season! Two games for stomping and throwing punches is a slap on the wrist and a joke, especially when you are placing a ban on a player for a block he threw..Your time away from the field should give you ample time to focus on turning around your shitter ass league. I know you may not understand why, but throwing punches and stomping people is WRONG!
Juice-MoNkey Jackson I was kidding about the little boys but I am serious about YOU stepping up and setting an example for your team as well as your league...the solution starts with you, or do you want to continue to be part of the problem?
P.S. football #1 is not me...just another person trying to swing from my nuts...if you hang from them long enough I guarantee you will get shit on...you have been warned!
i came to the crusaders game to watch two good teams go at it. and i was very dissapointed in the game. wut should have been a good game turned into a screw job the crusaders. from guys signaling plays from the spartans sideline. to flags being picked of the feild. touchdowns that were called back. it jus sad to see that a young rising player like #7 gets kicked out the leauge but jackson gets away scott free. i saw him throw a punch on #44 he is the one that should be setting the example. the spartans got screwed out the game and out a player. i clearly saw number 28 of the crusaders take out #7 on the sidelines. exuse me but if the game is over why is he on the spartans sideline unless he was starting mess. now the spartans did react and i think they made the fight worse but they did not start the fight and they got the bad end of the stick on the punishment but wut do u expect jackson and peckum r buddys they gotta look out for each other. i cant wait to see the rematch in the playoffs. the winner of that game will be the champions, sorry to the other teams in the crfl. but the crusaders and the spartans r in a whole nother statusphere then the rest of the teams. crusaders and the spartans need to come to the ifl and stop beating up on bad teams. and play wit the biglueages . go nighthawks
2 games under your belt and you call yourselves big dogs? You aint shit yet. Neither team would last and the IFL wouldnt allow this shit to happen eben once! Wildcats would eat you for breakfast lunch and dinner
This is a reflection on the lack of league leadership. You would have thought that after they kicked the Renegades out they would have set a zero tolerance policy for fighting. But I guess when the president is involed and his buddy is the one issuing punishments it becomes a cover his butt type of rule.
i agree with u mr unffornuate. like i said though how do you expect a fair decsion when the two hot shots r buddy buddy. how does jon jackson not get punished that is so not fair. and it shows the leadership and integrity of their league. Right is right and wrong is wrong it doesnt matter who u are or wut position u hold. poor descion making by mr peckum . poor taste for fairness and quality .
EYE seriously think some of you were dropped on your heads in your infancy. Let me start at the top. Mr. CRFL Commish. Eye will allow you the use of my Eye! With this trained Eye, you will SEE all that were involved and call it straight. What you have done is undermine your credibility by protecting a few. (for whatever reason) You can SEE just fine, however, you are chosing NOT to open your EYE! For this, Eye shed a tear. As for the teams, mainly the Crusaders. Woe unto you! This is the 2nd time in 2012! Eye am sure the CRFL didn't get rid of the Renegades for YOU to replace their antics? Eye SEE the fist thrown, Eye SEE the helmet swinging, EYE SEE THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN.....SHAME! SHAME! SHAME! You call yourselves men? Act like it. C-Nation = SHAME! To the Spartans. Get your house in order! #7's on field enthusiasm is definitely grey area. Eye know the type. Hustle to a fault. EYE cannot say that he made that block with ill intent, but Eye can't say that he didn't either. All Eye can say is EYE HAVE MY EYE ON YOU (Spartans) Yes Eye am being harsh on the Crusaders! With all the Pomp and Circumstance that has come with your existance, Eye would expect MORE! MUCH MORE! Maybe you are the leftovers from the Generals. Maybe you are THAT element that some thought you were. TIGHTEN THE HELL UP! SAYS EYE!
can we move on its done with there are some good teams in CRFL u cant talk about instead of talkin about 2 teams that cant control there selves and give are league a bad rep talk about the teams tryin to do the right things like play a hard and clean game they love that do things in there community like the CARDS,BLITZ,CRUSH,FORCE and so on... we might be a small market league but we love the game as much as anyone so stop being like the media... and talk about the good for once
its unfortunate that i had to swing my helmet to get out of that crowd of players. I was basically hit from behind on a dead play i got punched in the face and you tell me im wrong for defending myself. i swung one time and left the area, all i wanted was to be let go of , they didnt let me go so all i thought to do was swing. I go out on that field with respect and awareness of safety for myslef and other players. I definitely shouldnt have swung my helmet (NOT TO MENTION THE GUY I HIT HAD ON A HELMET) but if you were over there and couldnt move you would have done the same thing. I WAS NOT TRYING TO HURT ANYONE I JUST WANTED TO LEAVE THAT SIDE OF THE FIELD AND I WAS UNABLE TO..iF YOU WATCHED THE VIDEO YOU SEEN ME SWING AND GET OUT OF THE CROWD...THATS ALL I WAS TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH..THE CRUSADERS ARE A RESPECTABLE ORGANIZATION AND I BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE BEEN UNFAIRLY PREJUDGED,SO FOR ALL OF YOU THAT NOTICED ME SWING MY HELMET INSTEAD OF LOOKING AT ONE OF MY TEAMMATES ALMOST GET HIS LEG BROKEN IN THREE PLACES OR ME GETTING HIT FROM BEHIND ON THE LAST PLAY OF THE GAME..SHOULD DEFINITLEY FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO TALK ABOUT CUZ YOU WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME THING IF YOU WERE BEING ASSAULTED...I WASNT TRYING TO HURT ANYONE AND I DIDNT...THERE WAS NO FIGHTING KICKING OR STOMPING ON MY BEHALF...SO GET OFF ME...
Who prejudged you? Your first preseason game ended in a fight. your second regular season game ended in a fight. No matter what, you dont use a helmet as a weapon. What I dont get is how did all these people get puched in the face? Aint you taught in high school to keep your helmet on at all times during battle? You must have missed that class. I will gladly welcome someone pucjing me in the face, cause I will have my helmet on....good luck with that broken hand. You have been weighed. You have been measured. You have been found not worthy. Stop pointing the finger unless it is in the mirror.
im not pointing the finger at anyone...i admit to swinging my helmet the game was over i wasnted to leave the field...i couldnt because i was held up by numerous spartans...i wasnt about to fall on the ground and get stomped either you seen me swing my helmet... not what was realling happening so i could care less what you think about any of it because if i would have gotten hurt all the league would have had to say is "sorry"..so you can basically shutup because i didnt hurt anyone and i wasnt trying to...THANKS
I don't go out there and mess with anyone I don't care what you have to say how you think all those players got injured...you idiot...not because of me swinging my helmet...like I said before I was not about to be laying on the ground getting my face kicked in because players other than myself had something to say to each other...I didn't even start the fight I jus wanted to leave the area so I did...you can sit here and say what you want but if I have to choose between feeding my family or playing for free and getting hurt because players wanna be stupid...then trust me I don't wanna be apart of this league...you can watch that video a million times and believe what you want but...know one thing if it's a crowd of people fighting then you gon do whatever to get out...I'm not the one punchin or fighting I swung my helmet ONE time for the purpose of them letting me go...I RESPECT THE PLAYERS WHO PLAY THE GAME BUT I PUT ME FIRST...so with that said YOU and YOUR opinion DO NOT matter to me...
The ball carrier got up field...due to that tackle! Game wasn't over! No one plays to lose! #28 started the fight on our sideline! You all came over! Yes I am biased, but I am honest! Swinging your helmet was a bitch move!
You idiot I got hit from behind at the end...I was already over there...I didn't know who started swinging I just wanted to leave the field....there was a swarm...I didn't retaliate until I Was being held...so I swung...I didn't hurt anyone...or say anything to anyone...until that point...I don't care what you say...Im not a punching bag...we won the game..so I was ok until I got hit from behind
Well I guess I will put my 2 cents in on this!! I too have watched the video on youtube and I for one agree that whomever swung the helmet needs to be banned from the league. I also believe that #7 from the Spartans needs to be banned. In my eyes, I believe there isn't much of a difference in what #36 did and what #7 did. #7 used the crown of his helmet to take a knee out from another player. Therefore, using it to cause injury and yes I believe it was on purpose. He seams like he has played football for many years therefore, should know that this would cause an injury. Then gets up and makes a play across field. Clean hit, YES. Unnecessary, YES. The player with the ball had already been tackeled and the play was over, but no whistle. I'm sure we all recall an icident that took Mr. Coleman's life a while back. He was hit cleanly but Unnecessary because he wasn't in the play. This type of play is why people get hurt. As #7 gets up, he walks towards #36. As he was doing so, #28 for the Crusaders bumped into #7, uncalled for YES but to cause you to punch him, NO!! I can recall many times I was bumped after a play or game and not one time did I punch that person. During the "MOSH PIT" you will notice that there was a Crusaders player on the ground and #4 is seen kicking him!!
This incident was a disaster for both teams. The Spartan players need to own up and admit that they were in the wrong as well. I'm tired of reading about how the Crusaders attacked you on your sidelines. From the looks of it, the play ended on your sideline. For #36, I can't tell from all the people in the croud what happened to you but at no time should you ever use your helmet to get out of a situation.
FACE the facts!! People make mistakes, its how you correct them that matters. FACE OUT!!
Again I wasn't thinking swing with my helmet...I was thinking swing period...oh well...it is what it is...I was jus protecting myself...I know longer care about the situation...because I know my intention regardless of what you seen on camera
Dude im mike #24 from the Spartans. Im the one you almost hit in the head with your helmet. I talked to mike and josh to try and get u back on the field. Iv played this game since I was 5 and I just turned 36. I know things got hot. I was suspended for supposebly stomping on one of your team mates over and over. I am contesting my suspension. I know you didnt mean to swing your helmet at me. I maybe quiting my team so I can prove my innocents because my coaches and owner want me to let it go. I cant do that. Im not a dirty player. I never have nor will be. God luck with what ever you do after this.
And that's what I'm saying bro everyone sees me swinging my helmet you could see that I was tryna get out the crowd I wasn't trying to hurt you or any of your teammates...I appreciate you stepping forward and speaking on this matter I got banned for tryna protect myself and leave the field...I'm watching players getting stomped and stuff there was no way I could let that happen to myself I guess you can say I panicked...I love playing in this league....I know what I did was wrong but a ban was a little steep for something that appeared to be horrifying on film but in reality it was not at all...THANKS ALOT FOR ATTEMPTING TO CLEAR THE INFAMY
At the end of tha day tha fight happen, sorry that it did, but it did, im sure both teams didn't want this. All players said they were sorry, im sorry for 36, cuz he cant play no more, thats sucks, I understand were he is coming from, he just tried too protect his self and teammates, my problem is these other people who wasnt at the game, or on da field, thats got something too say, and they fat butts cant run or jump. stay out. We all got in trouble, all of us, but that damn game was good. Too teams that trying too win this league. That team was good, but Tri City is coming....... Bet most players can't even compete in a game like that...
#36 I just found out that my suspention was lifted because of the game film. I feel really bad for you and our #7.From talking to Mike and him saying how much you love the game and knowing how much our #7 loves the game it sucks. Our #7 wasnt tring to hurt your team mate just like i hope you werent tring to take my head off with your helmet(LOL).I just wanted to let you know I have no hard feelings againest you for what happen.I believe you were scared because of everything around you.I know I would of been. We are all human and arent perfect. Do I think it's fair yall got kicked out of the league no.Do I think yall should be punished yes. This whole thing was handle so wrong on both sides and in other places. Not only did you and our player pay the ultimet price, but both teams payed for it and the respect of the CRFL. I'm asking for every one to stop pointing the finger at just you. Once again i'm sorry to hear about you not being able to play any more.

If this information is correct why was the video removed for you tube. Mr J morris Why is it that you are not only a player, but you are also the commissioner of the league. Your player #28 suspended two games and #7 suspended a whole season. Sounds a little bias to be. You as a player of this team that was so tormented by #7 should have never had a say in the final decision of number #7. Also you mention that you are tired of you Crusaders being called "thugs" sounds like you guys already have a bad reputation. After searching for the video it says it was removed. Seems a little funny for me. You have not won that easy so get prepared for the BS on black and white.
first of #36 u are so quick to bet that u will woup my ass, lol yea right if u wanna fight u shud have fought when u had the chance now u want to fight. puusy u swung a helmet in a fist fight, stop actin tough we seen it, hundreds have seen ue cowardly actions, y u gettin mad and u did the shit. real talk i think u got a lil bit of bitch-assness in u. u talk to much first off and u did some bitch ass shit. ur the only one who did that out of dam near 100 people ur the only one who acted like a bitch. but back to the bet u bitch ass nigga u dont want this i will literally beat the shit out of u. we can exchange numbers if u want and ill show u better than i can tell u. please make my day i stay in napp too. #36 it aint shit to it but to do it

I really don't think it's smart for you to come somewhere that you are not familiar with, so like I said Internet thug all you want I ain't bout to keep talking to you.
