The ESPN article about the death of Dave Coleman, and more importantly, about the game that we all love, has been updated in the last month.
It's a very well written, deep and honest look at the struggles of Semi Pro football and involves teams and people that many of us know personally. Whether or not we have every played the Panthers or knew Dave Coleman, most all of us have played with men just like him. All of us share his unflinching love of the game.
Most importantly, the story poses (though it does not answer) a lot of the most important and difficult questions that face those of us that are involved with the game at this level. I weighed in on this back when it happened, but I really want to urge each of you to take time to read this story and to consider the questions it poses.
