ROBERT HUNT, QUARTERBACK-DETROIT SEMINOLES-MID-CONTINENTAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE
2005 MINOR LEAGUE FOOTBALL'S "PLAYER OF THE YEAR"
The veteran QB of the Detroit Seminoles was the highest-rated quarterback in the Mid-Continental Football League in 2005 and finished the season at the top of most of the passing categories. During the regular season, his completion percentage of 60% helped him lead his team to victory in the MCFL Championship. He was at the helm for both of the Seminoles AAA Minor League Football News National Championship wins in 2002 and 2003, in Homestead,Florida.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD
SAM D'ALIE, WIDE RECEIVER-RACINE RAIDERS-NORTH AMERICAN FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Sam broke the all-time Raiders record for receiving TD's in a season and had touchdown passes from four different QB's. He's small for a receiver but has a great amount of speed and can get open. DB's are scared to press him because if they don't get enough of him it's a touchdown. He scored the only touchdown for the North squad in the NAFL All-Star Game in Orlando, Florida.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD
PENI FAITELE, DEFENSIVE LINEMAN-INDIANA MUSTANGS-MID-CONTINENTAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Peni was named the Defensive Player of the Year in the Mid-Continental League this season. He led the Mustang defense in sacks and tackles for a loss but also finished first in the MCFL as a defensive lineman in these same categories. He was also named to the Mid-West Region All-Americans

ROOKIE PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD
JOE HOLLISTER, LINEBACKER-CENTRAL PENN PIRANHA-NORTH AMERICAN FOOTBALL LEAGUE
The rookie middle linebacker from Millersville University broke the Piranha single season tackle record and was the heart and soul of their defense that capped off a 19-0 season with the championship of the North American Football League, and the #1 Ranking in the nation by the Minor League Football News.
