Bobby Burton just got home from his Rookie training camp with the CFL. It was held down in Mobile Alabama and he is pretty nervous and excited about it.
He feels strong and said it went well. I know there are some guys out there that don't care for Bobby, but no one who has played with him would say a negative thing about him.
He is the only player I can honestly say didn't miss a single Indy Tornado practice in 2 years I was there. He is very dedicated and we are very proud of him.
From here he will get a call from a team (or not) from the CFL. If he makes it, it will be because of his hard work, and no one out works him for sure. If he doesn't make it, then it wasn't meant to be. I have all the confidence that we may be getting some good stories from him next year playing Nort' in Canada Ahh.
It isn't confirmed yet, but I was told he hit 40 on the 225 bench press by the way. The kid is as strong as a bear.
