Lafayette Lions are Unanimously accepted into the MSFL.
Rich, Frank & Brian,
It is my honor to inform you that by unanimous vote of the MidStates Football League teams you have been accepted into the league.
On behalf of the league I welcome you. We feel that because of your organization we will become a better league.
The Michiana Titans, of which I am part owner, will be assigned as your sister team. You can of course contact any coach or team with which you feel comfortable in speaking. However it is the Titans responsibility to assure your organization is represented fairly in all league matters. They will also stay close to you to answer any questions you may have, or address any of your concerns.
One member of your organization will have voting rites at all league meetings. It need not be the same person each meeting. However, I would suggest that you consider maintaining a consistency. This person should be a member of your teams management.
You may submit items that you would like to have addressed at league meetings to me, as I am league secretary. These items will be placed on the next meetings agenda to be discussed.
I would like to express again how excited we are about the Lafayette Lions being part of the MSFL. We are looking forward to the great competition which you bring to this league.

Sounds like a pretty good fit, and likely less travel overall for you guys. It's no secret to anyone that you all are the odds-on favorite, but I know that you all will not rest on your laurels, but will push full steam ahead. congrats.

I know that I am glad to have the Lions in the League.
One more Indiana team in a Chicagoland dominate league.
