Are we talking purely strength? If so, then Scott Tyrcha of the Indiana Mustangs is definitely the strongest player I've ever played with/against and probably ever will. At our combine he benched 225lbs 40 times. Most guys in the NFL can't do that.
As for strength alone the 2 strongest I've ever faced are Wilbur Kennedy DT Racine Raiders and Rich Fuller DT Mid State Steel.
Now for strength and quickness combined that honor goes to the Lions own Robert "Boochie" Faulkner. That bastard could roll off his couch bench 425 then run a 4.9 40 at 315 pounds.
I have 2 players one is (Big Shawn) Shawn Smith OL from our Lafayette Lions. He placed 7th in the World Strongman last year. The other is Alan (Bam)DeSerres RB. I played with him last year in Graz,Austria with Team USA. He just ran over anyone that was in his way.
Physically very gifted (hit 225 for 40 times at the rookie camp he went to two weeks ago). Mentally as tough as they get. He is rarely outworked. He finishes every drill. He stays late and runs.
Anyone who has played against him in this state will tell you he is a playa'.
what does "tears cure cancer mean"? It does not matter If you are strong if you let me get to the ball carrier every play. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH (I only say that because I am not strong)
Talking pure strength....
Rob Vick, plays with the Force of Illinois....
Rob is an Old School player and of course plays the best postion in this sport...O-Line....
I havent played against him 1 on 1 since he plays o line...
But this cat benches competitvely during the off season, I dont know his MAX but has benched over 800 lbs.. His best 225lb rep is 50....
This dude is huge...
