I made a treat last night that I had kind of forgotten about. If you take a banana (I suggest a pretty ripe one) and freeze it until it is completely hard, you can make Banana "ice cream" out of it.

Just- freeze banana with peel, cut banana into pieces and cut off the peel (this is the easiest way I have found to get the peel off), and puree it until it becomes the consistency of ice cream.

I have had it with suger free Strawberry Preserves on it, or you could do sugar free cholate syrup. It's good by itself though. My 10 month old loves it too!

We used to freeze bannanas when I was a kid.
But we would syran wrap,now you could use zip locks. We also put pnut butter on them.

Funny how I have to wait for hotter weather to enjoy this, but I can enjoy the skinny cow sandwich or frozen yogurt! Go figure!

Any way wanted to say thanks for sharing and bringing back some memories that I will use this summer!
