Cilantro lime dressing

Looking for Cilantro Lime dressing.. either to buy or make..

Re: Cilantro lime dressing

I did a google search and got the following:

Cilantro-Lime Salad Dressing

This dressing is particularly good on a grilled chicken salad.

Originally from The Treasury of Creative Cooking

2 cups

2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 cup olive oil
1 small bunch cilantro
1 clove garlic
2 green onions
salt and pepper, to taste

Pour lime juice and vinegar into food processor or blender. With processor on, slowly pour in olive oil. Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth

Re: Cilantro lime dressing

Thanks for the "google". I think I found that also. Was just wondering if anyone has ever bought it. I saw that Wishbone had one out but it was not a "points friendly" dressing.

Re: Cilantro lime dressing

the sauce that is put on the chicken from mcdonalds the southwest salad is cilantro lime. maybe go to their website and see if there is a list of ingredients. compare it to the one that was found when googled....

Re: Cilantro lime dressing

That is interesting. I have tried the Southwest Salad here at our local Mcdonald's but never paid a whole lot of attention to the dressing. think I will look into that.. Thank you!
