Just wanted to update the situation.

We are fulltime RVers and we host at Georgia State Parks. We were at a park that is located within the National Wildlife Refuge of the Okefenokee Swamp. The park name is Stephen C. Foster State Park. One of the most beautiful places that God created.

The first fire started in Waycross, Ga over 3 weeks ago and the fire closest to the park started 7 days ago from a lightning strike. This last fire burned thru southeast GA and moved into northeast FL.
Over 300,000 acres have burned just in this area alone. Many homes have been lost, many,many families have been evacuated from their homes. Firefighters and equipment from all over the US are on site doing everything they can to get these monsters under control.

Please continue to think of these individuals and say a prayer for them.

That's so sad. I always think of the people and the wildlife when I hear about fires. The main thing though is making sure everyone is safe, and I'm grateful that you're ok. Everyone is still in my prayers. I hope they can get this under control soon. Thanks for the update.

In Ca we had the Griffith Park/LA Zoo fire and the Catalina Island fire.
