I recently heard that dealing with sugar and things like that means that some of it can 'soak' into your body.
Is this true? Because i prepare things for my family all the time, that I really don't need soaking in.

I've never heard of this before but I imagine that it's negligable. with all the other ww obstacles with baking goodies for loved ones(i.e. having delicious treats around, licking the spoon, sampling a few morsels/nuts while you cook) I wouldn't worry yourself too much about possible absorbtion through handling
