What's your opinion?

At my WW meeting, there are three scales that you can weigh in on. I have always used the same one until today. I was joking around and told the receptionist that if I wasn't happy with this scale that I was going to weigh on the one that I usually weighed in with. She assured me that she weighed the same on all three of the scales. Well, I did lose today (1.6), but as I was working out today I got to thinking(which can be dangerous-lol). My scales at home usually weigh me 1.5 pounds heavier than the scale that I usually weigh in on. The scales that I weighed on today showed the exact same amount that I weighed at home. So I was just wondering what was up. Do you think the receptionist has really weighed on all three like she told me? I know that it doesn't really matter-I'm probably emphasizing the scale too much- I did lose this week. But I think next week, I'll weigh on my usual scale and see what happens. Have a good day!

Re: What's your opinion?

Congrats on your loss today Jill!

I've had this same discussion about the scales. My WW meeting has 3 scales too. I honestly believe none of them weigh the same, but who knows. I've never actually gone around and weighed myself on each one to find out. LOL! I look at it like this... if I'm up a little on one and down a little on another, I'll catch up, etc the next time I weigh on a different scale.

The two weeks that I lost 3.8, I was actually down over 4 pounds, but I go with what they tell me. This week my scale said I was down 1.6, but I weighed on a different scale and they said I was down 2.6, so I figure there's my other pound that I didn't get to count the last two weeks. LOL! It all works itself out in the end. :)

Re: What's your opinion?

YUp Jill how we all love to play the scale game, me included, moving mine all around the bathroom until I see what I want lol..

I was told that before every meeting every scale is calculated to be 100% right, the scales we have at home are never right anyway, I have a WW one and its not worth a ****, they should have paid me the
$59,00 just to use it, instead of me paying for it.

I do weigh myself every day, and of course its never the same although it is within a few ounces of my correct weight, I do that just to record it daily and to watch myself, if my scale is up a lb, I then drink more water and keep myself off sugar.

that usually works by the time Tuesday morning comes.

Re: What's your opinion?

Perhaps i am lucky, my scale at home always weighs me the same as the one at WW. But i am sure everyone has their."fav" scale when they get weighed in. I pick the scale that has the receptionist i like at the scale. They did move our scales around to different parts of the room.Partly because of how the room is situated. Because i live in a small town, in my area, we only have 2 WW and they are both on Tuesdays, one in the AM and one in the PM. Each weigh in, is in a different room. If i did not make the tueday meeting, i could drive to other areas but they are 45 mins away. I like to stay with what i am famalair with and that goes with weighing with the same scale each week

Re: What's your opinion?

I try and use the same scale at meetings each week. But, this past weekend I bought a WW scale at Costco and it was only $28.99 and this morning it weighed me the same, showed no loss. But when I went this evening I had a 4 pound loss. I truly thought I would go in tonight, without any kind of loss. I guess you can't believe any of them...LOL
