Figuring daily points

Hey everyone I was wondering if you guys could give me a heads up and tell me how they are figuring daily points values now. I haven't been to a meeting in two and a half years, and it sounds like it was a lot different back then. I am hoping to get to my old meeting group on monday night. I quit smoking about a month ago (cross my fingers) and started gaining.

Re: Figuring daily points

Welcome Chelsie

ok heres how you find your point value for the day

1 ARE YOU
Female Score 2
2 How old are you
17-26 score 4
27-37 score 3
38-47 score 2
48-58 score 1
over 58score 0

3 What do you weight
Enter the first 2 digits of your weight lbs
for instance if your 175 enter 17

4 How tall are you
Under 5 1 Score 0
5 1 to 5 10 Score 1
over 5 10 score 2

5 On most days of the week how do you spend your day

Sitting down score 0
such as recpt bus driver office worker

Occasionally sitting but mainly standing
sales person, housewife, cook, teacher
score 2

Walking most of the time
waiter, mailman
score 4

Doing physically hard work most of the time
nurse, gardener,construction worker
score 6

Add up your points of what you are and thats your total points for the day.

We're also allowed to use the extra 35 weekly points you can use them all in one day or spread them out during the week, we're not allowed to bank anymore

we also get AP activity points but thats week 3.

THis is for the Flex plan

Something new added and I don't know if you were around when it came out "CORE"

most of us on this board are all flex (points)

so thats what I got from my week 1 book, and when you go back to WW they'll give you the new program
Kickstart...

so calculate your daily points and go from there..

good luck

Re: Figuring daily points

hey thanks, I actually get 3 more points than last time I did WW. without activity points. I did know about flex and core. I am a flex because I love my carbohydrates.
Last program they had when I was on it was the turn around program so this one is different to figure points.
