Used the heart rate monitor today for the first time!
Okay, Ladies, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this thing. Oh m y goodness, how did I ever live this long with out it??? It is my new best friend. I used it today on my bike ride and what a difference in terms of accuracy. The WW guidelines based on age, weight, and intensity are NO WHERE THIS ACCURATE!!! Not that I work for Polar, but I would really encourage others to get one of these if you want to really know how many calories you burn and how hard you work.
On my 45 minute ride today I burned 441 calories, stayed within my target heart rate zone or above for the ENTIRE time! My range is 117 to 153 and I functioned mostly at 140 to 160 BPM. Now I know that I am really working and to know the calories I used really made my day! I will wear this thing every time I exercise. I LOVE MY NEW TOY! LOL
