Ok i know i been AWOL from this board, but here is what i am cooking today.

Chocolate Chip Pie(new recipe, similar to Aimee's Chocolate Chip Dessert using the Chips Ahoy and Cool Whip, only with the pie You use a graham cracker crust)

Okay, Kim, you have whetted my appetite and I need recipes!

Can you share the french bread pizza recipe and the chocolate chip cookie dessert recipe when you have the chance?

Your meals always sound so tasty and you have such great variety!

26 reduced far Chips Ahoy cookies
1 cup ff milk
1 graham cracker crust ( i bought the reduced fat crust)
1 container of Cool Whip, light ( if You use ff cool whip, points are 6)

Dip cookies in milk and place in a single layer in crust. Top with 1/3 Cool Whip, dip 8 more cookies and place on top;spread 1/3 of cool whip. Repeat layers with 8 cookies and milk and remaining cool whip.
Crumble last 2 cookies and sprinkle over pie. Cover and chill 8 hrs or freeze.
10 servings



Cheesy French Bread Pizza
1 loaf French Bread cut in half horizontally
Cooking Spray
1 1/2 cups of marinara sauce,divided
3/4 cup mozzerella cheese

450 degree oven
Cut each bread half crosswise into 3 pieces.
Coat cut sides of bread with cooking spray;place bread, cut sides up, on a baking sheet.Bake at 450 for 3-5 minutes or until lightly browned.
Spread 1/4 c sauce on each piece of bread, sprinkle with 2 T cheese.
1 piece = 6 points

Oooops, after adding the cheese bake 3-5 more minutes or until the cheese melts

"vegan" chicken patty with marinara sauce and Pepper jack cheese.
*recently the brand of one point buns i use to buy stopped making them, so i had to go to a 2 point bun . There is a 1 pt bun but it is the size of a pat of butter and for 12 of them, it is over $3.00.
I think from now on i will just eat naked burgers or use them with a 1 pt English Muffin or bagel.

anything "southwestern" is spicy, it has green chilies in it, if you dont want to add the spices, its just elbow macaroni, tomatoes and ground meat.
Not sure if its kid friendly, if my kids dont eat......well they dont eat.
