No walking on Saturday or Sunday. I walked 4 miles yesterday and today. Today I even added a little sprinting during my walk for the first time. It was hard! I will continue to do that just to get my heart rate up some, and hopefully it will get easier with time.
Just got back from walk with DH and neighbor. I made it around the 3 1/2 mile block for the first time in years. After I ice my knee for awhile and drink my coffee I'm off to the gym for a water aerobics class and weight lifting.
Went to the gym yesterday and water walked, started to use the weight machines but the line was too long.
Nellie, the ice seemed to help until I went to the Y for a 1 hour water aerobics class and then shopping at WalMart. Now it is throbbing again so I have ice on it again.
Well, I didn't get in that walking yesterday, but was
out this morning with our guests walking the neigh-
borhood. May even make it again before calling it a
day today. :)
I keep forgetting to post on this thread. I have been able to get in a 4 mile walk Mon-Fri. of this week and was even able to add 4 miles three times in the evening this week. I usually don't walk on the weekend, but may try to get one in this evening if the rain holds out.
