Do any of you use Splenda to bake? If so, does it work okay? Do you use Splenda granulated or Splenda/sugar blend?
I have never used to bake, but I have heard that the Splenda blend works just fine in baking. I hope someone else has more experience. I do use splenda in cereal, etc with good results.
My one attempt at baking with Splenda was disastrous!
I have also been told by a friend that the Splenda for
baking version isn't totally satisfactory, either.
Thanks Uki & Nellie. Like you, Uki, I use Splenda in my cereal, tea, etc., but I have not tried the baking. Nellie, what is the baking version? Is that the Splenda/sugar blend?
I have some- i have not tried it for baking, However- i love cucumbers with vinager and sugar and water salt and pepper and usded splenda in place of sugar and it was great!!!!!!!!
