Angie from what I've read you use the directions on the package and put in crockpot and cook on low overnight. That being said, I have a much easier way to cook them. Bring to a boil 3 1/2 cups water. When the water boils add 1 cup steel cut oats and a pinch of salt (I also add cinnamon). Turn off the fire, cover the pan and let it set overnight. In the AM divide into 4 servings. Refrigerate 3 servings and heat the other serving in the micro. No muss/ no fuss.
