Question

Do you all weigh you meat before or after cooking. For example, if I'm making a turkey burger and I want it to be 3oz. I always add more for shrinkage, am I doing the right thing?

Re: Question

weigh after cooking it Laura

you just might be getting more to eat that way

Re: Question

Thanks Tobe, that's what I've been doing but just wasn't sure.

Re: Question

Hey tobe does the same apply to any food? or just meat? I weighed my sweet potatoe last night before cooking and then after and there is quite a large difference. Thanks

Re: Question

why weigh a potato???
its in the book what the points are what are they 3 or 4 something like that.., I always gave a
potato 3 points..

I don't count points any longer, I've been doing
SFT for about 5 mo now...

If I was counting points I'd weigh all meat cooked.

Re: Question

sorry forgot u didnt count points any more.

Re: Question

What's SFT?

I weigh my meat after cooking.

Re: Question

I soooo need to get a scale. Right now, I just have to eye everything.

Re: Question

SFT is the new Momentum program aka old core...

I like it so much better than flex, i was too
bored, counting and measuring...

I lost about 7 more lbs on SFT.....

Re: Question

Thanks, Tobe. I'm still following the Flex on my own. I hadn't seen those initials, so I was like, Huh? LOL..

You've lost 7 more? Super!

Re: Question

Carrie
I've been maintaining for two years now..
and when I was on this site, I was holding
5 undergoal, now that I'm doing SFT I'm holding
an even 10 under...

Its great and very easy.. of course i'm still
weighing in weekly and now that the beach season
is over, of course cause its winter, I'm staying
for the meeting... which is a big help, and great
motivation..... to continue on week to week..
