Good morning. Chelsie, so sorry to hear about the cut in hours. I know it will be tough but I guess you have to be glad that he didn't get laid off completely. Take care of yourself and don't let worry take over. Somedays I'm really glad that Jim is retired so that we don't wonder what will happen. Our worry is what the stock market does to our savings.
Yesterday was a good day. Ate well, got a baby blanket made and a couple kids jeans purses.
Tonight I'm trying a recipe I saved from somewhere for Buffalo chicken meatloaf (making burgers since Jim has an aversion to meatloaf) Trying to keep meals simple with lean protein and veggies and some whole grains.
Have a great day
Chelsie, it was smart to get the cars paid for when you could more easily do it. Times are really rough for many people. DD#3 had her hours cut last fall, but she has now been bumped back up to 40. Thankfully she still had benefits.
My favorite quote is this: If hunger is not the problem, food is not the answer.
I went to the doctor yesterday for my annual exam. Fun, fun, fun! The best thing was that my weight was down three pounds from last year. That is something we all like to hear!
Pat, you are so industrious! I managed to sit at the sewing machine in November/December when I thought to make DGD a pair of pajamas, but haven't done any sewing since.
Hope everyone has a great OP day!
Happy am everyone. I am up and going already today. Not a very busy day which I am thankfulf for. dd #2 had a softball game so we went to that. Dd #3 did her piano and computer camp while I was gone and now all of them are at the park just down the street playing while I quick hop in the shower. Well go off for a haircut and then dd #3 game is tonight so I think it is off to to pool this afternoon to suntan all my worries away. I only got maybe 2 more months off so I better enjoy it.
Hubby and I sat down last night and figured out our new budget. It is okay. Just not as much going out as usual. That is okay though there are plenty of things to do around here.
Glad to see everyone is doing well. Hope you all have a great day
op for me
Sorry to hear your husbands hours got cut Chelsie. Hopefully things will pick back up. My hours were cut about a year ago and a few months ago we lost our holiday and vacation pay. I try to remember that I'm lucky to have a job but it is still frustrating! I saw your pictures on facebook and you have a beautiful family. You look great! Are you at goal? Patty I wish I had a little of your talent.
I hope all of you have a great day!
