Re: took a new WW member to super Wal*Mart

I wanted to say thanks for the great tips. I have just joined WW last week. and am very excited about losing the weight. Everyone on this website is such an inspiration to me that I know we can all do it. Aimee thank you for all the great recipes you have here, I will be buying a cookbook soon! Good luck to all of you.

Re: took a new WW member to super Wal*Mart

thanks the list. i am new and needed some ideas on what to buy for food to help stick to the plan. i will have to look at walmart next time but unfortunaly we only have a plain one not a super store. so hopefully they will have some of the same items in stock. they are talking about expanding into a super walmart but do not know if this will happen or not.

Re: took a new WW member to super Wal*Mart

Thanks for printing the list, I see some stuff on there that I would like to try. Its good to switch things up so you dont get bored.

Re: took a new WW member to super Wal*Mart

Thought I'd mention that walmart has a Splenda knock off called Altern that tastes really good and is about 3 dollars cheaper per bag. I know I use a lot of the stuff and every couple dollars helps, you know?

Re: took a new WW member to super Wal*Mart

I have also tried it and really can't tell the difference.....

Nancy,

I took your list to SWM a couple weeks ago and found everything except the Penninsula Pot Stickers. Are these in the freezer section or regrigerated section. I also asked a stock boy but he never heard of them.

Thanks,
Nancy G (Wisconsin)

The pot stickers are in the freezer aisle close to the TaiPei frozen meals. If your Walmart doesn't have them, I believe that Costco's brand of Ling Ling potstickers are 1 point also and just as good.
