Techne100 with EM

i purchased two Italian made machines "Techne100 year 1993-4 said machine installed EM PLC with programer ES.555 model 45c900.that receiving input but not giving output as cpu indicates RUN,is there any solution for my problem?

Re: Techne100 with EM

May I suggest the following?

1) Check voltage on the incoming AC 100-24VAC terminals. Acceptable power is 85 to 264VAC/ 47-63Hz.

2) Check voltage on the 24VDC/Com terminals located directly above the incoming AC terminals on the power supply(PSM-A/PSM2-A/PSM2-A2). This is “Channel 2”; provided as a convenient source of power for input devices. If you read ~24VDC, then at least one of the three channels is correct.

3) The PSM2-A2 power supply has a red LED indicating power. Earlier power supplies do not have this indicator. If the LED is not lit, the fuse may be blown on the power supply.

4) You did not indicate which processor you have installed. The CPM-E and CPM-E2 processors have a Power (PWR) and a RUN light. The CPM-E3 also has a ERR light. Determine if the "PWR" & the RUN indicator is lit. If the "PWR" is not lit, then "Channel 1" 5VDC is bad on the power supply and needs replaced.

5) The first ladder run in the program determines if the processor goes into “RUN” mode. One or both of the M990 contacts can be replaced by a external input contact (i.e. X010). If FUN98 is not enabled, the processor will not go into "RUN" mode. For a better explanation, see : EMII RUN.

These steps may not solve your problem, but they need to be addressed/eliminated as a source of trouble. In any event, this should help you start sorting out the problem.
