Re: HIZAC E-20HR

Roy,
It doesn't look as if any one responded to your post, so I hope it isn't too late.
For software for the "E-Series", you really have only one choice. ActSip-E is that choice.
If you have a model J-16, E, E2, EB (all models except those ending in ...CRP), the EC, EC2 or EM (CPM-E and CPM-E2 processors), then you will need the PGM-JR2 “Serial Protocol Converter” Interface which provides a serial port for connection to your laptop. On models: EB-xxCRP, EC, EC2, EM (with CPM-E3 processor), a serial port is provided, which allows direct connection to your laptop.

ActSip-E is DOS based, which means you use the “ESC” key to bring up and close menus, the “F” or Function keys for various program options, and your arrow keys to move the cursor. Although DOS based, ActSip works fine on Windows® Operating Systems (not tested on Vista or Windows 7).

ActSip-E programs in two languages: Ladder Logic (LD) and Instruction List (IL). This is very handy, especially when used in program printouts, as “IL” is the language you would use if programming the PLCs with a hand-held programmer (PGM-J, PGM-JR2, or PGM-GPE/2). This means you can create a program using the commonly used and well known Ladder Logic, but also have the documentation to make program changes in the field or plant floor using the hand help programmers (rather than taking a laptop).
Because of its ease of use, we quite often use ActSip-E in our PLC Lab for quick projects.
The complete programming package includes a Users Manual, Media on CD (which includes “E” series Users Manuals), and cable for connection to PGM-JR2, EC/EC2, or EM2 (please specify at time of order).
Please let us know how we can best serve your needs.
