Re: HIZAC E-64R Power Supply

The "E-Series" power supply was available as a spare part at one point in time. The part number is #43050263-2. If you can find one, I'd guess a new one would be under $300 - but a used one - who knows? In case you were interested, the "E" series was produced from 1986 to 1995. Reliance Electric branded the "E" series and sold it under the name "Shark X". Hitachi made one special unit for the Shark X - the 45C904, 45C906, and 45C908. The 'special' factor was this "brick" had 120VAC inputs. ALL the rest of the Shark X, and ALL the Hitachi "E" had DC inputs. I do not know what the Reliance P/N was, perhaps the same as the Hitachi.
If you still need the power supply, please send an email here, and we will check to see IF they are still available. If they are, they would be NEW, but I do not know how a warranty (if any) would be handled. The reason the "E" series was discontinued was because the parts used to make them had become unavailable (polite way of saying obsolete).
If you find a "E" on eBay, I wouldn't trust the power supply being the same, unless it is a 64I/O unit like yours. For some reason, Reliance Electric did not produce the 64point unit - but the P.S. may be the same, I don't know.
The "NJD" part number you show is probably valid (as it was outsourced : Nichicon Japan).
I hope you were able to glean something useful out of all this (useless) information. Good Luck!
