Re: Re: Re: Re: Data between EH150 and Windows programs

Thank you very much for your replay,

I have downloaded the demo file, but in the package is missed the WWDLG32A.DLL file, the DDE server doesn't run.

The full protocol with sample code/examples is found in a manual we received when we purchased a 'COMM-2H' module. I don't know if the protocol description is available in any other form.

I can't help you much more than this. The protocol is quite involved, you will need the full Hitachi manual.

You can download a working demo (One hour time limit) of the IO server I developed from:

http://www.aims.biz/Wonderware/Products/AIMS%20IOServers/Hitachi_H.htm

Using this server, you can monitor and change PLC data values from eg. Excel, Word etc.

Hi Wayne,

I have a system where a PLC Hitachi manages a group of servo

motors. The program stored in the PLC read some information

from input lines and then change the speed of the motors.

I want, from a connected computer with a graphic interface,

to change the speed of the single motors if necessary.

I haven't experience about PLC EH 150, but I'm a senior

programmer, what information I need to start?

Thank you

Angelo,

I too am a windows programmer.

I have already developed a commercial program to do this.

It works with all H-Series PLC's (H-protocol).

I have an EH-150 controlling my House, connected to my PC for monitoring.

What is your requirement?

Regards,

Wayne Fildes (B.Eng)

Hi all,

I am a Windows programmer, I need to know if it's possible to write a program, for Windows platform, that share information with a program that run on a Hitachi EH-150 CPU104.

I think that is possible by serial port, but which information I need to know? Do you know some examples?

Thank you very much for your attention...
