Furnas 96 / Mitsubishi F2

Hello, do you sell or know of where i may get ahold of software and a cable for a Furnase PC/96 cat.# 96JM40JA (Mitsubishi Cross# F2- 40MR-UA1. If you do sell them could you tell me how much they are. I was unable to downlod you line card. Thanks Paul.

Re: Furnas 96 / Mitsubishi F2

Paul,
You are correct in that the Furnas Electric 96JM40JA was actually a Mitsubishi F2-40MR-UA1. But I've got bad news, I'm afraid. There have been several devices used to interface with the F1 and F2, but all have been discontined. Even the hand-held programmers are non-existent now. The ones we are most familiar with are the F-Link (A-Link by Shihlin Electric). What Mitsubishi sold here in the U.S. was F2-20GF1. We don't know much about it, other than it (like the F-Link) was used as a RS422 to RS232 converter (interface) for F, F1, and F2 series.

As far as the software, that is no problem. Medoc (by Beijer) software has been the standard programming software for decades. Although "officially unavailable" here in the U.S., it is still available (Email Us for a quote).
