As it pertains to out of town opponents there are only 2 possible games that we win as a city. The local 5a games obviously will have local winners
I'll take austin Andress parkland and Burgess to 2nd round
It will be Hanks, Canutillo upset pick, Parkland and Burges advancing.
The other games some are coin toss and some will get beat badly. Hard to choose.
I am rooting for all 915 teams that are playing out of town schools.
Andress’ starting QB and backup QB got hurt last week, which is why they lost to Irvin. So I’ll put Andress I’m upset watch against canutillo.
Lol the northeast sticking up for each other
Hopefully all the 6A teams come out with the W. Lets do this El Paso Area Teams.
Season over for all teams in the 915, with exception of Americas. They will lose on round 2. Early exit for all from out of town playoffs. The calibar of EP teams this year is a few shades below from the past.
Plan for next year! All EP should be home enjoy their coconito...El Paso should just stick to soccer!
El Paso has consistently beat teams from the Midland/Odessa area over the last several years to include this year. Midland Lee got trashed by Odessa Permian last week and Franklin took it to Permian earlier in the year. Franklin is dealing with half of their starting receivers being out so who knows what will happen tonight but just because you got the better of Montwood last night doesn't mean El Paso can't compete with you. I understand that football is ALL you have in Midland but come on have some class.
Americas will lose also, one man show.
Keep sleeping on Americas Panhandle, that defense is going to get to your move-in QB...
If you were at the game, there were some very questionable calls in favor of Americas. On the 2 point conversion for Americas, #22 hips clearly hit the ground before the pile moved over the goal line. And some third down conversions for Americas were very questionable. Ummm
The Tigers were able to score in 3-5 plays.
The ball clearly passed the goal line before he was ruled down, and on every close call on 3rd and 4th down the refs brought out the chain crew... and trust me the blazers aren’t a one man team and if your watched them through the season you would agree, the America’s o line put in work and destroyed frenships d line. They opened the holes that allowed Dumas to run the way he did. Americas has a very good chance to win against Arlington if they play the way they are capable of playing
It was a very good game. To bad that the Refs had to help Americas with the win. You should request the same officials for the Arlington game.
One man show.
